Educators frequently ask, "Now that I know who needs
help in which areas, what do I do?”
Acuity™ is specifically designed to answer this question
by giving educators the opportunity to assign additional instructional
resources.
Instruction is accessible directly from assessment results
and can be electronically assigned to a class as a whole,
or to individual students, using the “Assign”
feature on Acuity reports.
Instructional activities are designed to:
- Engage students with interactive activities
- Improve student achievement in key areas
- Intervene in time to make a difference
Each engaging instructional activity provides extra practice
and instruction and includes three important components:
- Introduction and explanation related to a given skill
- Guided practice
- Opportunity to evaluate progress throughout instruction
Below is an example of an engaging instructional activity.
You will notice two parts; one provides students with background
knowledge about a content area, and the second part of the
instructional activity can be scored so your teachers can
monitor instruction on an ongoing basis.

If students select an incorrect answer, they receive instant
corrective feedback, which allows them to immediately adjust
their thinking and actively participate in the assessment
process.
While students are working, their answers are captured and
viewable by educators on helpful reports.
